Hello there, I'm Adi.
I love building experiences that really empower people, especially Deaf people. My work is all about functionality and visual appeal, ranging from accessible websites to visual identities.

About me
I grew up in a Deaf family so I’ve always been part of the Deaf community. For a long time I wondered how I could actually help, not in theory but for real. Over the years I’ve found my own way of doing that: combining creativity, tech and accessibility in everything I work on, whether it’s branding, websites, apps or community projects...I tend to say yes to projects a bit too fast sometimes but I love turning ideas into something real. That feeling when something finally works and makes a difference, that’s what drives me.Outside of work I enjoy the small things. Like a good coffee with two shots of espresso and oat milk to start the day just right.

My work
Some of my work, all in one place. Feel free to sort through it.
Built to be clear and accessible, with sign language videos, simple language, and resources for families and schools.
A mini website for the youth branch of ANSR.
Kind of like a linktree, but more personalized, includes CTAs, social links, and a visual identity that fits the vibe.
Mini event site for participants.Scannable via QR code printed on badges, used to access the agenda, location, and other event info directly on their phones.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This was a personal project that I freestyled in under two days. I knew I wanted to do some sort of branding for my imaginary café place, one that serves good coffee (and matcha for my wife). The color palette includes your usual browns and an accent that’s this bright iguana color to make it stand out. The logo is just a negative space coffee bean pressed into a simple, minimalistic leaf.

THE BRANDING OF QRSIGN
This was the first time I had to create a full brand identity for a startup I was actually part of. I knew the logo had to feel techy but still be simple and easy to recognize. I used QR code as the base idea, combined with four strong, meaningful colors that reflect accessibility, clarity, and a bit of personality.

Beyond the logo, I created a set of design rules for color usage, spacing, and text to keep everything consistent. Even though this is a startup MVP, I wanted the brand to feel coherent from the start.

The end result is a playful but structured look, aka something that feels modern without being too cold. It works well on small screens, signs, and app icons, which was important since the project is all about accessibility.

FURAHAA IN BUCHAREST
I was commissioned by a Deaf client bringing the Furahaa franchise to Romania. I didn’t create the branding, just made sure everything followed the existing style while building a clean, clear business plan and a pitch deck.Due to NDA, I can’t show the full work, but here are just a few previews to show the overall look and structure.

FUNDAȚIA CODA FARMECUL TĂCERII
In English, it's called “CODA Foundation, The Magic of Silence” or “The Charm of Silence.”It’s a Bucharest-based team that I had the absolute pleasure of working with, they're a group of people really committed to supporting the education of Deaf children in Romania.
BRANDING
We wanted the branding to feel soft and hopeful, like the Deaf kids and families this foundation supports. The color palette is all pastels, soft yellow, pink, green, and a light blue which are meant to feel calm and friendly.

WEBSITE
I built the website to be as simple and accessible as possible. It has sign language videos, easy-to-read text, and a contact form where Deaf people can send video messages instead of typing. Everything was made with their needs in mind. There’s also a section with guides and resources for parents and schools, all in PDF format so they can be downloaded and printed. Plus, the team writes articles to help people better understand the Deaf experience.

Go check out their website and show them some support :)

TOOLS USED
THE MUSEUM PHARMACY
This was a partnership between QRSign and the National Museum of Transylvanian History in Cluj, where I produced sign language videos and made them accessible with captions. These were used in interactive story installations at the Pharmacy Museum (Hintz House). I also created marketing videos in the lead-up to the inaugural event.
THE VIDEOS
I filmed and edited sign language videos that explain the stories behind the exhibits. Every video gets captions, so Deaf visitors can fully understand without missing anything.

A BEAUTIFUL LEGACY OF 34 YEARS
Miss & Mister Tăcerea 2025 was the 27th edition of the Romanian National Deaf beauty contest, running since 1991. Some years were skipped, but the tradition stayed alive. After an 8-year break, I had the huge honor of designing everything visual for this year’s event on behalf of ANSR: diplomas, sashes, lanyards, badges, projector slides, social media posts and many more. And a redesigned logo.

PROJECT BACKGROUND
QRSign is the first Deaf startup in Romania, where we are working on creating tourism information through pictures and videos in several languages, including sign language.By supporting education and digital accessibility, this project supports sustainable tourism and provides an innovation solution for Deaf people while adhering to Romanian and international disability rights laws.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
I am the the lead contributor who shaped the implementation of QRSign. Here are some challenges I successfully tackled to obtain €50,000 in funding through the FIX Cluj program.
FIX CLUJ 2023 INCUBATION PROGRAM
First I want to say that QRSign wouldn't have existed without the support and training provided by the FIX Cluj 2023 incubation program. Over 10 months, our team participated in important training sessions that were key to our development and success.

PITCH DECK
I collaborated with the team during the FIX Cluj 2023 incubation program to develop three pitch decks. The first secured our entry in the program, the second helped us reach the top 10 finalists with additional funding, and the final pitch deck helped us win a total of €50,000 in funding.

BUSINESS PLAN
I created a complete business plan for QRSign, incorporating key lessons from the FIX Cluj 2023 incubation program. This plan included detailed market research, financial projections, and strategic partnerships to help the startup grow.
BRAND IDENTITY
For us, it was important that our logo reflected our tech-focused startup. I created the logo using QR code elements and four meaningful colors to keep it simple, recognizable, and versatile. The bold and vibrant colors add a playful element to our brand, making QRSign more approachable and accessible.

BUILDING THE MVP
To start building the app, we selected FlutterFlow, an app development platform that aligned well with our MVP objectives, allowing for efficient and cost-effective prototype creation. I did research to ensure the app's usability for Deaf users, followed by the design and development of a user-friendly interface. After finishing the MVP, we published it on the Google Play Store to solicit user feedback. Our team collected feedback from over 100 Deaf testers at a public event last year, who gave the app a positive rating of 4.8 out of 5.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
I designed and developed the QRSign website, including domain registration and SEO optimization. In its early stages, the website included demos to demonstrate our progress to the FIX Cluj incubation program team.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
I produced and edited all QRSign videos, including the first call-to-action survey and tourism information in sign language, complete with captions for the MVP.These videos were important in demonstrating our app's capabilities and gathering user feedback because the primary language of Deaf people is visual.

INSTAGRAM STORY GAMES
To increase user engagement, I created interactive Instagram Story games, such as guessing the statues. These games have been effective in building our online community.
KEY LEARNINGS
The QRSign project, which is still ongoing, has pushed me to come up with innovative solutions to problems and has taught me to be flexible, resilient, and resourceful.I appreciate my team's trust, dedication, and hard work throughout this journey.I also want to thank the FIX Cluj 2023 incubation program for connecting us with many amazing people, especially our mentor Florin Pop, who gave us invaluable guidance, support, and motivation to strive for excellence, as well as the amazing interpreters who translated for us the entire time.
CURRENT PROJECTS
We are currently working on exciting new collaborations and updates for QRSign. Our team has grown a bit, and we’re more capable than ever.Stay tuned for more information as we continue to expand. We can't wait to show you what we have in store next. 💙
ABOUT
One month before EUDY's General Assembly in Oslo, Norway (June 13-16), where there was to be an election for the new Board of Directors and President of EUDY, my friend Daniel told me about his intention to run for President and kindly asked me to join his campaign team.I accepted with enthusiasm and quickly took the lead over the days, handling meetings. Later, I managed his social media on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. I refreshed his image with personal branding that combined EUDY's classic purple, YNAD Romania's blues, and a new refreshing green.

I created and developed the website www.lolicidaniel.com in less than 24 hours. Although it's simple, it helped Daniel's needs and can be updated in the future for his personal use.I also produced the campaign videos, including the testimonials video, coordinating contributions from over 20 people and ensuring inclusivity and captioning. Our videos achieved significant engagement, amassing over 40,000 views and reaching a wide audience across Europe.

This campaign provided me with valuable experiences, and improved my skills in digital marketing and project management while being involved in youth work for the Deaf community.Ultimately, Daniel was elected President of EUDY, and I feel incredibly lucky to have played a role in shaping the future of the european organisation.

Volunteering for ANSR Tineret is a way for me to honor my Deaf identity.Known in English as YNAD Romania (Youth National Association of the Deaf Romania), this organization has provided opportunities to the Deaf Youth in Romania community since 2014.
LEADERSHIP IN MASS MEDIA FOCUS GROUP
Led the Mass Media group within FOCUS, ANSR Tineret's volunteer program.

Added text posts and Romanian captions to improve accessibility.
Rebranded ANSR Tineret’s identity.
Developed branding materials for LGBT Pride Month.
Designed posters, diplomas, and workshop presentations.
